Protect your comfort year-round
Florida heat is relentless. A maintained system runs cooler, lasts longer, and is far less likely to quit on the hottest day of the year.
Three plans, one promise
Every plan keeps your system clean, efficient, and ahead of breakdowns. Pick the level of protection that fits your home.

Plan Details
Nature of these plans. FL Cooling maintenance plans are preventive maintenance agreements that provide scheduled tune-ups and member discounts on parts and labor. They are written for a term of less than one year and renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled. They are not service warranties, extended warranties, home warranties, or insurance; they do not indemnify against or guarantee the repair or replacement of any component. The combined parts-and-labor discount provided under any plan does not exceed 20%. The rate charged for these maintenance plans is not subject to regulation by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation.
Included filter replacement covers one (1) standard-size 1" pleated filter per scheduled maintenance visit, installed at a readily accessible filter location at the unit or a reachable return grille. High-efficiency, media, 4"–5", and oversized or non-standard filters are available at member-discounted pricing. Filters located in ceilings, vaulted spaces, or other areas requiring a ladder beyond standard reach, a lift, or special access equipment are not included and are quoted separately. Customer-supplied filters are installed at no additional charge during a scheduled visit at a readily accessible location.
Member repair discount. Member repair discounts apply to covered repairs on standard single-stage and two-stage residential systems using conventional 24-volt controls, and in no case exceed 20% of combined parts and labor. The discount does not apply to inverter-driven, variable-capacity, or communicating systems, nor to the diagnosis or replacement of inverter boards, communicating or integrated control boards, or variable-speed (ECM) blower motors and modules. It also does not apply to any repair that opens or accesses the sealed refrigerant circuit — including the compressor, condenser or evaporator coil, reversing valve, thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) or other metering device, line set, or filter drier — or to refrigerant. These plans are maintenance agreements; they do not indemnify against, insure, or guarantee the repair or replacement of any component, and the cost of parts, labor, and refrigerant remains the customer’s responsibility at the applicable discounted rate.
Repair discounts apply to standard parts and labor on covered systems. Plans cover one residential system unless additional systems are added. Plans cover the core heating and cooling equipment; ductwork and zoning systems — including duct repair, sealing, or replacement, zone dampers, zone control boards, and bypass dampers — are not covered under any plan and are quoted separately at member-discounted pricing. Replacement of rusted or damaged drain pans, including the secondary or auxiliary pan beneath an air handler, is also not covered, as it is a separate component and typically requires partial removal of the system for access; this work is quoted separately at member-discounted pricing. Service or repair of rooftop or other elevated units requiring ladder or lift rental, fall-protection equipment, or special roof access is not included and is quoted separately at member-discounted pricing. Refrigerant is not included in any plan and is provided at the applicable discounted rate.
Plan Terms & Eligibility
Eligibility & system condition. Equipment serviced under a plan must be in proper working condition at the time of enrollment. Systems that are inoperable, improperly installed, or beyond serviceable life at enrollment are not eligible. A thirty (30) day waiting period applies before plan discounts and benefits take effect; scheduled maintenance visits may be performed during this period. Discount eligibility begins only after the system’s working condition has been confirmed at the first maintenance visit; any fault, deficiency, or failure existing before that confirmation is considered pre-existing and is not eligible for plan discounts.
Covered system. The covered system is identified by location and equipment information at enrollment. Plan benefits apply only to that system. Additional systems must be enrolled separately at the per-system rate to be covered.
Term, billing & cancellation. These plans are agreements with a term of less than one year that renew automatically each billing period; there is no long-term contract, and you may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Plans may be paid monthly, or prepaid for twelve billing periods at the annual rate shown as a convenience; prepayment does not create a fixed annual term. If you prepay and cancel, unused full billing periods after your maintenance visit may be refunded on a prorated basis; once a maintenance visit has been performed, the amount allocated to that visit is non-refundable. Plan benefits and discounts require the plan to be active and in good standing at the time of service.
Refrigerant & leaks. Refrigerant is not included in any plan; any refrigerant is provided at the applicable discounted rate. A system requiring repeated or significant refrigerant has a leak; diagnosed leaks must be repaired and are quoted separately. Refrigerant service for an unrepaired leak is not provided.
Warranty parts. When a defective part is covered under a manufacturer’s warranty, the warranty covers the replacement part only. A warranty processing fee applies to cover diagnosis, claim filing, and handling, and labor to install the part is provided at the applicable discounted rate. Manufacturer warranties are subject to the terms and eligibility set by the equipment manufacturer.
Transfer. A plan may be transferred one (1) time to a new owner of the same covered system at the same address, subject to the system meeting eligibility requirements.
Reasonable use & emergency service. Plan benefits are intended for normal residential use and may not be used in a manner inconsistent with the plan’s purpose. Where included, emergency and after-hours service refers to priority response and waiver of standard trip or after-hours premiums; parts and labor remain subject to the coverage and exclusions stated above. FL Cooling may decline or cancel coverage for misuse, nonpayment, or abuse of plan benefits.
Maintenance pays for itself
A neglected system works harder, costs more to run, and fails sooner. Regular care protects the biggest comfort investment in your home.
Lower energy bills
A clean coil and proper charge let your system cool with less effort. Most homes see meaningful savings on summer bills.
Longer system life
Catching wear early prevents the cascade failures that retire a system years before its time. Maintenance adds seasons of life.
Fewer breakdowns
The vast majority of mid-summer no-cool calls trace back to issues a tune-up would have caught. Stay ahead of the heat.
Frequently asked
How does billing work?
You can pay monthly, or prepay twelve billing periods at the annual rate to save. Either way it’s a flexible plan that renews automatically — not a locked-in yearly contract — and you can cancel anytime.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There’s no long-term contract — cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period. If you prepaid and haven’t used your maintenance visit yet, we’ll refund the unused portion; once your visit has been performed, the amount for that visit isn’t refundable, but any remaining unused periods can be.
What exactly is covered in a tune-up?
A full inspection and service: checking refrigerant charge, electrical connections, capacitors and contactors, condensate drain, airflow, thermostat operation, and treating the coil with a foaming no-rinse cleaner. The tech leaves the system clean and documents its condition. A deep coil pull-and-clean is a separate service we can quote if your system needs it.
I have more than one system. How does that work?
Plans cover one residential system. Add additional systems at the per-system rate shown on each plan, so a whole multi-system home stays protected under one membership.
What about my filters?
Each scheduled visit includes one standard-size 1" pleated filter, swapped at a readily accessible location at the unit or a reachable return. If you use a media or high-efficiency filter, or your filter sits somewhere that needs a lift or special access, those are quoted at member pricing — or your tech will gladly install a filter you’ve supplied at no extra charge at an accessible location.
Does the plan transfer if I sell my home?
It can. A plan can be transferred once to the new owner of the same system, as long as the system meets our eligibility requirements. Reach out and we’ll help set it up, or get you started at your next address.
